Four pillars of scientific reputations

1. Published papers along with their impact factor and citations received. 2. Research grants received 3. Patents filed and commercialized 4. Excellent interpersonal skills/communications skills along with ability to travel widely.
As per my understanding, these above four points are pillars of scientific reputation.
