closePossible typo in model formulation

Comparing the methods presented in the paper to the R-code supplied, it appears that there is a disconnect.
I believe that the text should read the samples were sorted in ascending order rather than descending order as reported. Also I think equation (1) should read w=r*exp(r/|G|) rather than w=r*exp(-r/|G|).
It would be helpful if the authors could look into this to see if my suspicions are correct, and if so correct the paper to reflect them.

The previous comment is correct and we will send an erratum to the editors. We agree that "the text should read the samples were sorted in ascending order rather than descending order as reported. Also I think equation (1) should read w=r*exp(r/|G|) rather than w=r*exp(-r/|G|)."
Our most recent publications have the rectified equation. See:Pac Symp Biocomput. 2013:159-70.
