I want to presuppose that I am neither a medical doctor, not have I ever studied genetics. But I am woman. And by talking with my friends and also listening to them, I started thinking that the reason of coming into the menopause quite early is simply sex. Friends of mine, which have a rather sad sexlife and/or their husbands live in another city (which equals a rather sad sex life), already come into the menopause with 35-40 years! Also those ladies, which have problems of getting an orgasm.
I am collecting these informations now since more than 10 years by friends asking me: Are you already in the menopause, too? And I have to answer: No, I wish I would. Only now, with 58 years and 4 months I start getting into the pause (hopefully). 48 years of menstruation is definately enough. In addition I have to say, that I always had and still have a great sex life. This is, why I started thinking it might be the reason.
Maybe someone will take this statement to the base of a new research, of finding out the correct why :-)
